mea Platform and ACORD Solutions Group have joined forces in a strategic partnership to accelerate the digital transformation of global insurance operations.

The goal is to expand the use of automated underwriting and standardised digital data exchange across the insurance ecosystem, according to InsurTech Insights.

Under the agreement, mea Platform’s technology will integrate with ADEPT, ACORD’s global data exchange platform. This will enable (re)insurers to receive more structured data via API, improving downstream processes and increasing automation.

ASG’s president international, Chris Newman, said, “This partnership reflects ASG’s mission to drive global insurance innovation through collaboration using solutions accelerating standardized global data exchange. mea Platform has built a respected team delivering high-impact insurance processing solutions. By integrating ADEPT, mea’s growing user base can seamlessly connect to ACORD Standards worldwide for placing, accounting, and claims, amplifying value and unlocking new opportunities.”

Martin Henley, CEO of mea Platform, said, “mea isn’t just automating insurance processes—we’re fundamentally reimagining how (re)insurers operate in a digital-first world. As the insurance industry becomes increasingly digitized, data standards and data exchange and ingestion solutions will become ever more critical to connect market participants and automate workflows. This integration with ADEPT marks a pivotal step in insurance industry modernization, enabling (re)insurers to process business with unprecedented efficiency and data completeness, regardless of how it arrives.”
