dacadoo, a Swiss digital health company focused on health engagement and scoring, and Abi Global Health have joined forces to create an integrated, multilingual digital health experience.
The partnership combines wellness tracking and instant clinical support across a global footprint, according to InsurTech Insights.
The strategic alliance is aimed at delivering a seamless user experience by integrating dacadoo’s wellness platform with Abi Global Health’s clinical services.
Together, they hope to offer users a comprehensive health journey – from lifestyle coaching to real-time medical consultations – in over 27 languages.
dacadoo’s core offering is its Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP), designed to encourage healthier living through behavioural science, gamification, and real-time feedback.
Its proprietary Health Score measures overall well-being across seven domains, including sleep, physical activity, nutrition, and emotional balance. A new AI-based coaching feature, scheduled to launch in late 2025, is expected to further boost personalisation and engagement.
Abi Global Health provides access to healthcare professionals via voice, video, and text consultations. Its platform also offers online prescriptions, mental health services, and AI-powered navigation tools for healthcare and insurance systems. By integrating Abi’s services with dacadoo’s DHEP, the partnership adds a clinical layer to the wellness journey.
One key element is dacadoo’s Smart-Triage system, which uses its Health Score and user-input data—such as chronic conditions and smoking habits—to identify when medical intervention may be required. When triggered, the system connects users directly with Abi’s clinical team, delivering timely and context-aware care.
The companies are offering flexible deployment models tailored to insurers, employers, and digital health providers. Options include white-label, co-branded, or fully integrated implementations, enabling a scalable, data-driven approach to digital health engagement.
The partnership is designed to support users across more than 70 countries, enhancing both engagement and care quality. It also provides value to enterprises by driving user satisfaction, increasing retention, and potentially lowering healthcare costs.
dacadoo CEO Peter Ohnemus said, “Our shared vision is to make health engagement and healthcare access truly continuous and user-centric. With Abi, we extend our engagement model to include high-quality clinical support, helping people stay healthy and get care when they need it most.”
Abi Global Health CEO Kim-Fredrik Schneider added, “This partnership with dacadoo creates a powerful proposition for insurers, employers, and digital health providers looking to deliver real value to their users. By integrating Abi’s real-time clinical support into dacadoo’s health engagement ecosystem, we’re not only enhancing user health and well-being – we’re also helping our partners differentiate their offerings, drive engagement, and reduce healthcare costs at scale. Together, we’re setting a new benchmark for what integrated digital health can achieve.”
