Zap, a leading digital design and marketing agency, has launched a new payments product, Zap Cashier, aiming to enhance seamless payment experiences embedded directly into its technology platform.
The launch of Zap Cashier comes in response to growing demand from both end users and merchants for faster, smoother payment journeys, particularly in the competitive gaming sector. The company noted that customers increasingly expect integrated, frictionless payment flows.
Zap provides digital design and marketing services and has built a reputation for creating customer-centric solutions that improve user journeys for its clients, many of whom operate in high-growth online environments.
The new product, Zap Cashier, delivers a fully integrated pay-in and pay-out journey for end users, removing the need for manual bank transfers and reducing friction in payment processes. For merchants, Zap Cashier offers notable time and cost savings with reduced administration requirements due to its integration with the Zap platform.
The payments functionality of Zap Cashier is secured through TrueLayer, Europe’s leading Pay by Bank provider, and DNA Payments, a major independent card payments player in Europe. Over a quarter of Zap’s client base has already adopted the payments service, benefiting from enhanced customer support and operational efficiencies.
Capital Competitions is among the early adopters of Zap’s payment solution. Jamie Jackson, director at Capital Competitions, said, “Since moving to Zap our customer feedback has been great. The flow is clear and easy to use. We have noticed a much higher acceptance rate with less payment declines. The interface is simple and easy to use with great reporting tools on revenue received.”
Zap digital director Steven Sefton said, “This is the culmination of over a year’s worth of development to deliver our customers a better player experience. It’s a pleasure to be working with DNA Payments and TrueLayer to deliver better services to platforms and their users alike.”
TrueLayer VP partnerships Mariko Beising said, “Pay by Bank is redefining how platforms handle payments. Zap’s move reflects the broader shift we’re seeing: businesses across industries are turning to Pay by Bank to deliver better user experiences and lower payment costs.”
DNA Payments head of corporate Colin Neil said, “Simple, unified payments are the foundation of a great user experience and are an absolute necessity across a number of sectors. With our market-leading payment platform and Zap’s drive to deliver the best competition system in the UK, we’re able to deliver a best-in-class experience for site owners and users.”
DNA Payments supports its offering with direct plugins to leading eCommerce CMS platforms, including Big Commerce and WooCommerce, and leverages its advanced checkout payments gateway to support the seamless launch and scalability of Zap Cashier in the market.
