PayJunction has launched a new AI-powered voice payment service through an integration with Twilio, aiming to transform how businesses handle phone transactions.
The collaboration is designed to help businesses automate and scale their phone payment processes.
The partnership with Twilio allows PayJunction’s merchants to deploy AI-driven Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems that handle phone payments seamlessly.
PayJunction president Randy Modos said, “Merging Twilio’s innovative, customized experiences with PayJunction’s robust payment technology will equip businesses with the tools to quickly scale their phone payment operations without increasing PCI scope.
“Outsourcing phone payments often means higher costs and less control over customer interactions. With the Twilio and PayJunction integration, businesses gain access to a robust feature set and tailored pricing that aligns with their specific needs.”
Manual phone payment processing is often a source of error and inefficiency for businesses, consuming staff time and impacting customer satisfaction, it said.
By using AI-driven IVR, the new system helps reduce human errors and allows staff to focus on higher-value activities, ultimately decreasing customer wait times and increasing order handling capacity.
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) also stand to benefit from the partnership, with PayJunction’s No-code Payments Integration® now available alongside Twilio’s capabilities.
This combination enables ISVs to provide payment experiences aligned with customer needs without requiring extensive development resources, allowing them to focus on enhancing their proprietary software while integrating scalable, revenue-generating payment functions.
