Q2 integrates Greenlight for family finance tools

Greenlight, the FinTech firm behind a popular money management and safety app for families, has announced its integration with Q2’s Digital Banking Platform.

This move, facilitated through the Q2 Partner Accelerator Program, allows financial institutions to embed Greenlight’s financial tools and educational resources directly into their existing Q2 digital banking apps.

Greenlight’s integration with Q2 comes at a time when financial literacy is emerging as a top priority for families. A recent survey by Greenlight revealed that although parents recognise the importance of teaching financial literacy, many lack the tools or confidence to do so. The embedded Greenlight experience will offer financial institutions the ability to provide a turnkey solution that supports families in fostering financial knowledge and responsibility.

With this integration, account holders will gain access to Greenlight’s suite of tools designed to teach children and teens how to earn, save, spend wisely, and give. Parents benefit from a high degree of control, including real-time transaction monitoring, spending limits, and automated allowance features.

The Greenlight platform also includes Level Up™, an interactive, curriculum-based game designed to make financial literacy enjoyable.

The integration is made possible by the Q2 Partner Accelerator, part of Q2’s Innovation Studio. This programme allows leading financial services companies to pre-integrate their solutions via Q2’s software development kit (SDK), enabling quick deployment of third-party applications within financial institutions’ digital banking environments.
