West Ham United, the London-based Premier League football club, has renewed its partnership with eToro, a global trading and investing platform, reaffirming their shared mission to champion Women’s football and promote financial inclusion.
The renewed, multi-year deal strengthens both parties’ commitment to expanding awareness around investing and trading, particularly focusing on closing the gender investment gap through educational initiatives and brand activations, according to FF News.
eToro and West Ham United will continue leveraging their platform to deliver impactful messages around accessibility in investing. The partnership plays a central role in promoting eToro’s ‘Loud Investing’ campaign, a drive to make investing more open, inclusive, and approachable—especially for women.
eToro, one of the world’s leading social investment and trading platforms, is known for its focus on empowering users with tools to invest in a variety of assets, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, and ETFs. The platform has carved out a niche in the FinTech sector by blending traditional finance with social media-style engagement.
West Ham United, an English football club with a strong heritage, fields both men’s and women’s teams in top-tier competitions. The club has increasingly demonstrated its commitment to equality and inclusion, especially in the advancement of women’s sport.
The partnership provides eToro with continued matchday visibility through pitchside LED advertising, stadium screen promotions, and a comprehensive suite of digital rights across both men’s and women’s fixtures during the season.
Earlier this year, eToro hosted a financial literacy session with members of the West Ham United Women’s team. The workshop, part of the ‘Loud Investing’ campaign, focused on introducing players to the basics of trading and investing, helping build financial confidence through clear and accessible education.
The collaboration will also feature further workshops and activations aimed at both fans and athletes, reinforcing financial literacy and empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures.
West Ham United women’s defender Verena Henshaw said, “It was great to be involved in the workshop with eToro, investing is a topic that can feel really daunting to talk about, but the session delved into the basics and was explained to us players in a really clear way. The session had a great impact in making us all feel much more confident in our knowledge of the subject area.
“The insights we received were really valuable and I’m looking forward to learning more about it in the upcoming season.”
West Ham United executive director Nathan Thompson said, “The renewal of our successful partnership with eToro reaffirms our shared commitment to Women’s sport. We are particularly proud to be helping eToro gain vital exposure of their ‘Loud Investing’ campaign. This awareness drive aims to help close the gender investment gap and at the same time make investing open, inclusive and accessible, something that aligns perfectly with our Clubs values.
“The partnership will continue to provide vital tools of education on investing for our domestic fanbase but also our international supporters. We look forward to continuing to support eToro connect with our growing global fan base to share their industry leading insights over the coming seasons.”
eToro director of marketing Stephanie Wilks-Wiffen said, “Re-signing with West Ham United is about more than badges and billboards, it’s a chance to put financial empowerment at the heart of match-day culture.
“By renewing this partnership, we can keep turning up the volume on our ‘Loud Investing’ campaign, empowering more women, athletes, and supporters to build the knowledge and confidence they need to take charge of their financial futures.”
