Wordwatch and its sister company Business Systems, a leader in customer contact technologies, have jointly announced the appointment of Mike Wardell as executive chairman of both organisations.
This strategic leadership shift is designed to support both firms in scaling their market presence and driving continued innovation in their respective sectors.
Wordwatch specialises in compliance and communications archiving for regulated institutions, while Business Systems is focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions in customer contact and compliance. Wardell, who served as CEO of Business Systems for the past 18 months, has played a key role in delivering record growth across both brands. During his tenure, he oversaw the strategic positioning of Wordwatch as a standalone compliance vendor, enabling it to better serve the needs of regulated entities. In his new role as executive chairman, he will provide strategic guidance and leadership oversight for both companies.
William Davenport will continue in his role as managing director of Wordwatch. A founding member of the business, Davenport is now leading the company’s global channel partner strategy while driving ongoing innovation in compliance technology. At Business Systems, Andrew Jacobs will remain as managing director, focusing on expanding the company’s presence and developing its customer contact and compliance offerings.
