Plutus, a new entrant to the ServiceNow partner ecosystem, has officially launched with a mission to bring AI-native solutions to the insurance sector.
Founded by former ServiceNow leaders Kara (Donato) Anderson, Abhishek Bajpai and Chirag Jindal, the startup has already secured pre-seed funding from Moneta Ventures, according to FF News.
The launch of Plutus responds to a growing need within the insurance industry for purpose-built digital solutions and experienced implementation talent.
According to Plutus CEO and founder Chirag Jindal, his time at ServiceNow highlighted a major market gap. “In my role as a Product and GTM leader at ServiceNow, I had the privilege to engage with Insurance leaders globally, and it was clear to me that the marketplace demands both purpose-built, packaged solutions to accelerate time to value and the experienced talent to deliver these solutions,” he said.
Plutus is positioned to serve as a dedicated InsurTech partner within the ServiceNow ecosystem. With a presence in Chicago, London and Bengaluru, the firm is committed to helping insurance carriers, brokers and third-party administrators (TPAs) unlock real value through scalable ServiceNow deployments.
The company’s core offering is built around Agentic AI—intelligent, AI-native digital agents designed to enhance claims processing and service journeys. These tools will be delivered as pre-configured solutions across the insurance value chain, including for property & casualty (P&C), life & annuities (L&A) and broker segments.
Further supporting its vision, Plutus has developed a methodology to enable incremental adoption of AI—addressing concerns from insurers about complexity and hype. “Hearing first-hand how customers are overwhelmed with ‘AI noise’, we developed a methodology for incremental consumption of AI that utilizes our large-scale transformation backgrounds, relentless focus on change management and adoption, and experienced technical talent,” Jindal added.
Moneta Ventures, which led the pre-seed round, believes the founding team is uniquely positioned to capitalise on this opportunity. “The ServiceNow platform is rapidly expanding, and we believe the ServiceNow portfolio still has great untapped potential that is ripe for disruption. This founding team has the right ingredients to win in the ServiceNow ecosystem with a laser focus on industry-specific innovation,” Moneta Ventures founder and managing partner Lokesh Sikaria said.
Plutus also aims to support ServiceNow’s broader vision to lead the customer relationship management (CRM) space. The startup sees itself as a strategic enabler, advising insurers on how best to leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
