“Advisors need to be able to build the full picture of a client’s wealth to be able to manage it,” Erin explained. Real-time interactivity makes the experience engaging, improving client buy-in and enhancing the value proposition for advisors.

ByAllAccounts: A data engine behind the experience

The success of the platform hinges on access to clean, accurate, and complete financial data. Rather than attempting to build thousands of direct integrations, Summit partnered with ByAllAccounts to tap into a network of over 15,000 financial institutions.

“If we were contemplating building direct data feeds to every data provider our clients worked with, we’d have a backlog of many years at this point,” Erin said. ByAllAccounts aggregates, enriches, and standardises the data, allowing Summit to deliver a seamless experience with minimal friction for clients and advisors.

Service-led support and smooth onboarding

Behind every well-designed platform is a support structure that keeps things running smoothly. When data aggregation hits a snag—such as broken connections or miscategorised transactions—ByAllAccounts provides the support needed to resolve issues quickly.

“I’ve worked in wealth management for a long time, so I’ve had exposure to other aggregation solutions,” Erin said. “ByAllAccounts still views the advisory practice as the client. That blend of technology and service is important in the space.”

Summit also maintains a dedicated daily service contact to ensure onboarding and maintenance processes are as smooth as possible for users.
