Robinhood has launched its latest AI-powered feature, Digests by Robinhood Cortex, for customers in the UK.
The new tool is designed to break down stock movements in real time, helping investors understand what is driving price changes and why it matters.
Digests marks the first release from Robinhood Cortex, the company’s AI investing assistant. Built using generative AI, it pulls together breaking news, analyst reports, technical data and Robinhood’s proprietary datasets to provide clear, plain-language explanations of stock performance. The tool is integrated directly into the Robinhood app and is available free of charge to all UK customers at launch.
The feature was first unveiled earlier this year during Robinhood’s Lost City of Gold event in San Francisco. It began rolling out to US users during the summer and has already been adopted by hundreds of thousands of customers. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with 95% of surveyed US users saying they enjoyed using Digests. Many highlighted the relevance of the data provided, the ease of accessing insights, and the reliability of the sources included.
Robinhood UK president Jordan Sinclair said, “Digests by Robinhood Cortex is our first AI insight tool – built directly into our app.
“We believe our UK customers –from first-time investors to seasoned traders–will appreciate the timely, accessible summaries that highlight what may be moving a stock. We will keep introducing AI tools that prioritise customer education and help our investors navigate the market with confidence.”
The tool is aimed at investors of all experience levels, offering a simplified way to gather and interpret information before making a trading decision. By presenting timely market updates, Digests allows users to form their own investment thesis or validate trading signals. At launch, the feature covers many of the most frequently traded stocks on the Robinhood platform.
