Belgian Pro League team Club Brugge KV has entered a five-year partnership with Neo, a Barcelona-headquartered cross-border payments and foreign exchange (FX) FinTech, as its Official Foreign Currency Exchange Partner until 2030.

The partnership aims to enhance Club Brugge KV’s international financial operations by streamlining FX and multi-currency transfers, according to FF News.

Neo will manage the club’s currency exchange and payments, helping reduce FX transaction costs and improve operational efficiency across player transfers, staff payments, travel, and sponsorship agreements.

Club Brugge KV is a prominent Belgian football club regularly competing in the UEFA Champions League, requiring robust international financial management to support its global operations.

With Neo as a trusted partner, we’re enhancing the way we manage foreign currency and payments across the club. Their support will play an important role in helping us deliver on our ambitions over the coming seasons.”

Laurent Descout, co-founder and CEO of Neo, said, “We’re proud to support one of Europe’s most ambitious clubs. Football today is a global business, and smart currency management plays a vital role in helping clubs stay financially agile.

At Neo, we’ve worked with leading organisations in the sports industry, so we understand the challenges that come with international operations. Our platform is designed to make cross-border finance simple, transparent and cost-effective, and we look forward to working closely with Club Brugge over the next five years.”
