Two partners with Komplett to combat rising fraud

Two has teamed up with Nordic electronics retailer Komplett to roll out the region’s first fully integrated Risk-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform for B2B transactions.

The solution will provide real-time credit and fraud decisioning across Komplett’s operations in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

B2B fraud has been surging as e-commerce volumes rise in high-value sectors like electronics. The 2025 AFP Payments Fraud and Control Survey shows 79% of organisations reported fraud attempts in 2024. The total cost of e-commerce fraud is projected to jump from $44bn in 2024 to $107bn by 2029, driven by fake identities, internal impersonation, and abuse of invoice terms.

To tackle this, Komplett has adopted Two’s AI-powered RaaS platform, which combines fraud detection, credit scoring, identity verification, and configurable risk rules in one system. The platform automates risk checks while keeping the checkout process seamless for legitimate buyers.

Two CEO & co-founder Andreas Mjelde said, “B2B fraud has evolved rapidly. What was once rare and opportunistic is now systematic, frequent and increasingly clever. Fraudsters are abusing invoice terms, impersonating real businesses and even posing as employees within legitimate companies. With order values often exceeding €5,000, B2B payments have become a prime target. Our work with Komplett shows how AI-powered, real-time decisioning can strike the right balance between control and conversion – all without adding friction.”

Previously relying on manual credit checks, Komplett struggled with delays and exposure to complex fraud schemes. With Two’s system, risk decisions are automated in real-time, giving Komplett full control and visibility across markets while reducing operational overhead.

Key features include automated fraud and credit screening, real-time identity checks, configurable risk policies, and an infrastructure designed for easy scaling.

Komplett head of credit Anne Mari Huseby Le said, “The implementation process with Two has been seamless from start to finish. We’ve addressed some of the most complex B2B scenarios – from machine-to-machine orders and migrating hundreds of thousands of existing customers, to handling sub-units of organisations, sole traders in Sweden, and export orders with payers in secondary countries. Together, we’ve built a robust, flexible solution that protects our business and delivers a smoother experience for our customers across the Nordics.”
