SimCorp has unveiled SimCorp Alternatives, a new offering designed to meet the needs of alternative investment firms across the globe.
As part of this move, SimCorp has completed the acquisition of Domos FS, a Paris-based cloud-native software provider specialising in alternative investments. The acquisition, which gives SimCorp full ownership of Domos FS, will bring the total alternative investment assets under management (AUM) on its platform to over €6tn. The deal also strengthens the buy-side capabilities of SimCorp’s parent company, Deutsche Börse Group, as it seeks to expand its footprint in alternative assets.

“The introduction of SimCorp Alternatives empowers our clients to transform their private market investments through automation, AI and cloud-native technology. SimCorp Alternatives further strengthens our position as a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions.”
SimCorp chief revenue officer Oliver Johnson said, “SimCorp Alternatives expands our addressable market by building on our existing extensive capabilities to also serve the needs of general partners and other private capital managers and service providers.
“At the same time, SimCorp Alternatives strengthens our value proposition for existing clients, who are active in alternative assets through a GP arm, direct investments, or co-investments by enabling them to streamline and scale their alternative investments with integrated, cloud-native software.”
SimCorp Alternatives will be available as a standalone solution or integrated with SimCorp One, offering an end-to-end platform for private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure investments.
