USAA Savings Bank has partnered with Quavo, a disputes technology firm specialising in automation solutions for financial institutions.
The collaboration is designed to streamline and modernise USAA’s fraud and dispute operations while reinforcing compliance across its processes.
Quavo, founded as a dedicated disputes technology partner, delivers automation-driven platforms for financial institutions seeking to improve fraud management and dispute handling. Its flagship solution, QFD®, uses agentic AI to automate every step of the disputes journey, from intake to recovery and resolution.
USAA, established in 1922 by military officers, is one of the largest providers of insurance, banking and retirement products in the United States. The institution serves 14m members, including military personnel, veterans and their families. Headquartered in San Antonio, the bank has more than 38,000 employees across the U.S. and abroad and contributes annually to nonprofits that support military families and local communities.
As part of the partnership, USAA will roll out Quavo’s QFD® solution to improve efficiency and provide members with a faster, seamless and transparent experience. The technology also supports USAA’s commitment to maintaining robust compliance standards while adapting to an evolving financial landscape.
The announcement also follows Spectrum Equity’s $300m growth investment in Quavo, a move highlighting growing confidence in the company’s dispute resolution technology and market potential.
Quavo CEO and co-founder Joseph McLean said, “We’re proud to partner with USAA Savings Bank, an institution known for its deep commitment to serving the military community. USAA came to us with a complex set of challenges, and we’re honored to support their mission by delivering smarter automation, operational scale, and compliance confidence.”
This alliance strengthens USAA’s strategy to set a higher standard for fraud and dispute resolution while enhancing the experience for its members and reinforcing its mission to serve the military community.
