Clearspeed, a global leader in voice-based risk assessment technology, has partnered with Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s top workers’ compensation insurer.
The collaboration aims to enhance engagement with injured workers, helping them recover and return to work more effectively, according to InsurTech Insights.
Using Clearspeed’s automated voice questionnaires, Pinnacol has tripled response rates and freed claim representatives’ time.
Responses are analysed by Clearspeed’s voice analytics engine in real-time without collecting personal data, enabling faster triage and follow-up for cases requiring attention.
Pinnacol Assurance provides support for employees injured on the job, while Clearspeed is expanding its expertise from property and casualty claims into workers’ compensation, auto and life underwriting. Insurers using Clearspeed have reduced claims handling by 50 per cent and increased immediate settlements by 40 per cent.
Following initial success, Pinnacol plans to extend Clearspeed’s use to First Notice of Injury processes and structured settlement verification, improving efficiency and worker support.
