Visa and TECH5, an international provider of biometric and digital identity management solutions, have entered into a long-term collaboration to accelerate the rollout of DPI worldwide.
The two companies announced the seven-year partnership in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, aiming to combine their respective expertise to support governments and institutions in building secure and inclusive digital ecosystems.
Under the agreement, Visa will integrate its global digital payment technologies with TECH5’s advanced biometric, identity management, and trust infrastructure solutions. The partnership will also explore the deployment of digital identity wallets with embedded payment capabilities, designed to improve interoperability and scalability across markets.
Visa, known for its global payment network and services that power digital transactions in over 200 countries and territories, will contribute strategic support to the initiative. This includes assisting TECH5 in engaging with financial institutions, advising on business development strategies, and providing funding for joint projects.
TECH5, which specialises in biometric authentication and digital identity management technologies, will provide the backbone for the identity infrastructure, offering tools that ensure security, scalability, and compliance with varying regulatory environments.
Both companies plan to align on a joint business development and marketing framework to guide the collaboration, with a strong emphasis on interoperability, inclusivity, and trust in digital infrastructure.
