Silent Push raises $10m to expand cyber defence platform

Silent Push

Silent Push, a cybersecurity company founded in 2020 by former FireEye executives Ken Bagnall and John Jensen, has raised $10m in fresh funding to boost innovation, expand internationally and build on customer adoption.

The Series B round was led by StepStone Group, with additional participation from Ten Eleven and Knollwood Investment Advisory, claims Silicon Angle.

The company, which specialises in preemptive threat intelligence, uses a model it calls “Indicators of Future Attack” to help organisations identify malicious infrastructure before it is fully deployed. Its scanning and aggregation engine monitors changes across IPv4 and IPv6 spaces, drawing on first-party DNS data, web scans, certificate scans and WHOIS records. These signals are then combined with behavioural fingerprinting to detect patterns linked to attacker tactics and campaigns.

Silent Push’s technology allows security teams to map out evolving threat infrastructure and take defensive measures before attacks unfold. The company’s platform supports activities such as threat hunting, brand protection against phishing and spoofing, monitoring external attack surfaces, and identifying misconfigurations in internet-facing assets. Results can be integrated into existing security tools to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.

The new funding will be used to accelerate Silent Push’s growth strategy, including product innovation and scaling into new international markets. The company said the capital will also support its strategic partnerships and help drive customer momentum. One such collaboration was recently announced with CyberLion, a distributor of enterprise and government-grade defence solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Silent Push CEO Ken Bagnall said, “We believe every organization deserves to be equipped with the data and tools needed to defend themselves against known threats and emerging campaigns.”
