Visa, a global leader in digital payments, has announced the launch of Visa Private, an exclusive premium product for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
The service, which debuts in the UAE before expanding across the GCC, blends Visa’s secure payment technology with curated travel, lifestyle and retail privileges.
The launch comes as the UAE is projected to record a net inflow of about 9,800 millionaires in 2025, the highest increase worldwide.
Visa Private is designed to help issuing banks cater to the growing demand from affluent clients seeking experiences beyond standard card offerings, while aligning with the UAE government’s ambition to establish the country as a global wealth hub.
The product offers a premium suite of privileges tailored to the lifestyle of HNWIs.
Benefits include complimentary airport lounge access for the cardholder plus two guests, chauffeur-driven transfers within the UAE, OneVasco visa-application concierge service, Harrods Gold tier membership, and discounts at fine-dining venues and beach clubs across the GCC.
It also provides complimentary access to leading padel courts, one free night’s stay at over 20 premium hotels, and exclusive perks with Club Med.
These experiences are designed to complement Visa’s payments functionality with value-added services that resonate with affluent clients.
Visa Private forms part of Visa’s wider global affluent strategy, which focuses on delivering differentiated value through personalised, technology-driven solutions.
By packaging exclusive benefits into a ready-made product, issuing banks can serve their premium customer base more effectively, supported by Visa’s trusted network and global reach at more than 150m merchant partners worldwide.
Visa VP & head of products & solutions for MENA Yuri Topunov said, “Visa Private shows how we turn insight into action. Working closely with our bank partners, we designed a product that reflects the lifestyle of the region’s most discerning clients while upholding the highest standards of security and convenience. By giving high-net-worth individuals a seamless way to pay and a richer set of experiences when they do – we are helping our partners deepen customer relationships and supporting the UAE government’s wider digital commerce agenda.”
