Ramp, the financial operations platform backed by a broad range of global venture investors, has reached a valuation of $32bn following a $300m primary financing round alongside an employee tender offer.
The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from existing investors including Founders Fund, D1 Capital Partners, Coatue, GIC, Avenir Growth, Thrive Capital and several others. New investors include Alpha Wave Global, Bessemer Venture Partners, Robinhood Ventures, 1789 Capital, Epicenter Capital and Coral Capital.
The firm introduced new AI-driven agentic tools aimed at reducing inefficiencies and automating time-consuming financial tasks. Ramp said the products were developed in response to mounting operational pressures on finance teams as transaction volumes continue to grow across organisations.
Ramp provides a unified FinTech platform that streamlines financial operations through expense management, accounts payable automation, corporate cards, procurement tools, treasury capabilities and advanced AI decision-making.
In October alone, the AI system made more than 26 million decisions across over $10bn in spend. The agents prevented 511,157 out-of-policy transactions worth $290.98m, moved $5.5m from idle cash into investments, blocked a $49,000 AI-generated fake invoice and even secured travel-related savings for customers.
The firm released Agents for Controllers in July and expanded its agentic capabilities in October with Agents for AP.
Sierra co-founder and CEO and OpenAI chairman Bret Taylor said, “I don’t want anyone at Sierra spending time on expense reports or invoices. Ramp’s AI has automated entire categories of work that used to slow us down. Because of Ramp, we now have more time to focus on what actually matters, building great products and growing the business.”
Ramp co-founder and CEO Eric Glyman said, “Our goal is to make every customer more profitable. On average, companies that switch to Ramp spend 5% less and grow 12% faster – results that outpace nearly every benchmark. The most disciplined and fastest-growing teams choose Ramp because it helps them scale more efficiently. We are working hard to bring that advantage to every business.”
