SEON launches advanced AML compliance tools

SEON

SEON has expanded its platform with advanced capabilities aimed at helping global businesses navigate increasingly divergent anti-money laundering regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

The updates address a growing challenge for compliance teams: managing tighter, market-specific rules using legacy systems that trap data in silos, restrict configuration and force a blunt one-size-fits-all approach that either over-screens legitimate customers or fails to catch sophisticated threats.

SEON provides an end-to-end fraud prevention and AML compliance platform that combines real-time data enrichment, machine-learning risk scoring and modular tools to help online businesses reduce fraud, streamline onboarding and meet regulatory obligations from a single interface.

The latest enhancements give compliance professionals code-free control over customer screening through jurisdiction-specific AML Search Profiles. Teams can select preferred data sources, fine-tune fuzzy matching sensitivity for different watchlists and apply region- or segment-specific standards, enabling rapid adaptation when entering new markets.

Further capabilities include Rule Categories for labelling and filtering fraud and compliance rules by jurisdiction or regulatory framework, plus investigative tools powered by graph theory. The Network Graph visualises hidden connections via shared devices and behavioural signals, while the Movement of Funds feature maps transaction flows to expose layering and structuring patterns typical of money laundering.

Additional features include customisable Alert Dashboards for monitoring trends and team performance, Payment Screening covering BIC, SWIFT and crypto wallet addresses, and a Unified Workflow that connects screening, investigation and case management without context-switching.

Tamas Kadar, Co-founder and CEO, SEON said, “Compliance teams are juggling more jurisdictions and tighter rules with systems that simply can’t keep up. Too often, data sits in silos; when one tool flags a high-risk signal, the others stay blind to it. Legacy platforms make it worse by locking down core settings, so teams can’t fine-tune matching or adapt screening by market. The result is blunt, one-size-fits-all compliance that either over-screens everyone or misses real threats. We’re giving teams the freedom to configure risk on their own terms.”

Michael Ormiston, Head of Player Protection, Rank Interactive said, “At Rank, platform safety and compliance are foundational to delivering exceptional player experiences. SEON is a valued strategic partner. Their AML compliance solution greatly enhances our investigations with unmatched flexibility as we build scalable fraud and risk programs that evolve with our business.”

Earlier this year, SEON launched a new suite of AI tools designed to speed up investigations and give analysts clearer visibility into risk.
