Kaizen hires James Crow to lead tech strategy

Kaizen, a leading provider of regulatory compliance solutions for global financial institutions, has promoted James Crow to the position of CTO, strengthening its leadership team as it advances its technology ambitions.

The company specialises in delivering RegTech solutions that support tier-one financial institutions with regulatory reporting accuracy, automation, and data quality enhancement across global markets.

Crow steps into his new role following a successful tenure as head of engineering, which he began in April 2025. Before joining Kaizen, he spent most of his career at London Stock Exchange Group, where he played a key role in building and scaling its UnaVista platform and later served as chief information officer overseeing change, testing and technology operations.

With his new responsibilities, Crow will lead Kaizen’s technology strategy and drive the expansion of Kaizen Hub, an industry portal offering compliance and RegTech capabilities to major financial institutions. His mandate includes progressing the company’s product roadmap, supporting growth plans, and ensuring Kaizen’s platforms remain secure, scalable and high-performing for clients worldwide.

Kaizen highlighted that Crow’s appointment comes at a crucial moment as it expands its presence across the regulatory reporting and compliance landscape. His leadership is expected to accelerate innovation and deepen the firm’s technology capabilities as it serves a global financial customer base.
