Banking Circle has strengthened its European footprint by becoming the newest member of the Czech Fintech Association (CEFTAS).
The move signals the company’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the growth of the Czech Republic’s FinTech ecosystem, according to FF News.
CEFTAS acts as a hub for the country’s leading financial technology companies, promoting collaboration, advocating for modernised regulation, and encouraging technological progress across the sector. With the Czech FinTech market expanding rapidly, the association plays a key role in facilitating communication between innovators, industry leaders, and regulators.
For Banking Circle, membership represents an important strategic step in its goal to modernise payments infrastructure worldwide.
The company provides fast, multi-currency payment solutions and aims to enhance interoperability across domestic and international payment networks.
Joining CEFTAS allows Banking Circle to engage more deeply with the European FinTech community, support collaborative initiatives, and contribute to regulatory and technological improvements that benefit businesses and end users alike.
Banking Circle General Manager Tomáš Novotný said, “We are delighted to join the Czech Fintech Association at a time when the region’s fintech landscape is evolving rapidly. Our membership will be crucial in supporting Banking Circle’s mission to deliver greater speed, transparency, and cost efficiency by enhancing interoperability across domestic and international payments rails. We look forward to contributing to a thriving ecosystem built on innovation, partnership, and dialogue through working closely with the Association and its members.”
CEFTAS Managing Director Ondřej Machač added, “Banking Circle’s decision to join the Czech Fintech Association confirms the growing importance of the Czech market within the European fintech landscape. We highly value their focus on modernising payments infrastructure and enabling faster, more transparent, and more efficient financial services. We believe their active involvement will strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem and contribute to the development of globally competitive fintech solutions originating from the Czech Republic.”
Through its CEFTAS membership, Banking Circle aims to drive collaboration, foster innovation, and accelerate the development of advanced payment technologies in the region.
The company’s involvement is expected to support the creation of faster, more efficient financial services and help position Czechia as a hub for globally competitive FinTech solutions.
