Hawk launches Analytics Studio to streamline AI model governance

Hawk, an AI-powered provider of anti-money laundering (AML), screening and fraud prevention solutions, has launched Analytics Studio, a new AI lifecycle management solution aimed at banks and payment companies.

The new product is designed to address growing challenges around the development, maintenance and governance of AI models used in financial crime prevention. As more financial institutions encourage the use of AI, compliance teams are under increasing pressure to ensure models can be quickly updated to reflect regulatory expectations and emerging crime typologies, while remaining auditable and defensible.

Analytics Studio streamlines AI model development and retraining, giving anti-financial crime teams greater flexibility and control. Financial institutions can use expert-designed financial crime model templates, copilot-guided model creation, pre-built AI performance dashboards and automated documentation to accelerate regulator-ready model deployment.

Organisations can also choose to use Hawk’s data science services for initial model development, as well as ongoing maintenance and retraining, reducing reliance on internal data science and IT resources. The solution embeds financial crime domain intelligence directly into models and incorporates governance, explainability, documentation and versioning throughout the AI lifecycle.

Commenting on the launch, Hawk chief product officer Wolfgang Berner said, “Hawk customers already benefit from AI models that have been outperforming the market for years, finding double the crime with half the investigative effort. With Analytics Studio, we are now giving financial institutions the flexibility to manage the entire model lifecycle themselves—from development and validation to ongoing optimization—so they can take their AI capabilities to the next level with speed and regulatory confidence.”
