Payoneer Global, a global FinTech company powering cross-border business growth, has announced an expansion of its global payment platform with new and enhanced local collection capabilities in Indonesia and Mexico.
The expansion introduces allows Payoneer customers to transact with local buyers and ecommerce platforms more quickly and cost-effectively.
By strengthening its local collection infrastructure, Payoneer is seeking to deepen support for emerging trade corridors.
The company enables SMBs in more than 190 countries and territories to operate internationally, whether through the world’s largest ecommerce marketplaces or via direct business-to-business transactions. A key element of Payoneer’s strategy is allowing customers to operate locally in the markets they serve, helping them reduce friction and complexity when entering new regions.
Working with local providers, Payoneer has launched local collection services in both Indonesia and Mexico. These additions build on the company’s existing local collection network across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. The expanded infrastructure is intended to help customers tap into new demand and scale operations in fast-growing and strategically important markets.
Through the new capabilities, Payoneer enables SMBs to collect funds directly from Indonesian marketplaces and businesses, offering greater control over foreign exchange management while opening access to a rapidly expanding trade corridor.
In Mexico, Payoneer has expanded its Mexican peso collection services to reduce friction for global sellers entering the market. Customers can now collect funds across multiple channels, including local collections from major ecommerce marketplaces.
