PwC US has expanded its long-standing relationship with Google Cloud, the cloud computing and AI platform provider supporting enterprises with scalable, intelligence-led technologies.
The renewed collaboration aims to help organisations modernise their security operations and improve cyber resilience by leveraging AI-driven, intelligence-led defence capabilities. This follows rising cyber threats, fragmented security environments and the operational pressures faced by security teams globally.
PwC provides large enterprises with advisory support across cyber transformation, regulatory compliance, risk, and managed security services. Its security practice is distinguished by the ability to operationalise complex programmes at scale while aligning cyber investments with regulatory requirements, board expectations and broader enterprise priorities.
Google Cloud offers a suite of AI-powered security products, including advanced threat intelligence, detection and response platforms, and cloud-native monitoring tools. Its technologies are designed to improve visibility, automate operations, and support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The $400m, three-year collaboration investment represents both PwC’s internal adoption of Google Security technologies and a unified commitment to deploy advanced AI-led cyber solutions to clients worldwide. The partnership also extends PwC’s agentic, semi-autonomous SOC capabilities, enabling automated investigations and reducing false positives through AI-driven workflows.
The companies currently deliver an end-to-end security portfolio covering security operations transformation, cloud-native application protection, threat intelligence, compliance automation and managed security services. These offerings provide consolidated visibility across complex IT landscapes, supporting faster and more effective response to emerging threats.
PwC differentiates its involvement in the alliance by combining execution experience with regulatory insight, positioning it as a leading Google Cloud Security partner for large-scale cyber transformation. The collaboration is reinforced through integrated threat intelligence—particularly Google Threat Intelligence—which the firms say enables a move from reactive defence to continuous, intelligence-led security operations.
PwC cyber, data & technology risk deputy leader Morgan Adamski said, “Security professionals are under pressure to move faster and operate smarter in the face of constant change. PwC is working with Google Cloud to help organizations operationalize AI and intelligence in ways that meaningfully improve how security teams work, day in and day out.”
Google Cloud vice president, global security sales Denise Walter said, “PwC supports Google Cloud by bringing the deep transformation expertise that organizations need to translate agentic AI into real operational impact. With PwC, we are helping clients modernize security operations on a global scale, driving consistent resilience, efficacy, and effectiveness across their complex environments.”
Adamski added, “When intelligence and automation are built directly into security operations, organizations are better positioned to prioritize what matters most, respond with confidence and build resilience.”
