Clearwater Analytics, a provider of investment management technology, and TreasurySpring, a global cash investment platform, have announced a new platform integration designed to enhance fixed-term cash management for institutional investors.
The integration connects Clearwater Analytics’ investment management platform directly with more than 1,000 cash investment products available through TreasurySpring, enabling institutional clients to manage surplus cash with defined maturity requirements from within a single workflow. By linking the two platforms, mutual clients can access a broad range of fixed-term cash investments while retaining the operational and reporting capabilities they already use.
Through TreasurySpring, institutional clients gain the ability to optimise surplus cash by accessing fixed-term cash investments that offer predictable returns aligned with specific maturity dates. The platform also enables diversification of counterparty exposure across more than 120 highly rated global banks, governments, agencies and corporate issuers. In addition, clients can access improved risk-adjusted returns through the Repo market, an area that is typically less accessible to traditional cash investors.
Once connected to Clearwater, clients can streamline operations via automated settlement and real-time reporting within CWAN’s existing investment accounting framework. The integration also enhances visibility by providing integrated position reporting across multiple currencies and counterparties, supporting more informed and timely decision-making.
The relationship allows mutual clients to use Clearwater’s institutional-grade investment accounting capabilities alongside TreasurySpring’s suite of Fixed-Term Funds, available across eight currencies. This enables organisations to deploy surplus cash strategically while maintaining transparency and control across their portfolios.
TreasurySpring US CEO and global head of capital markets Henry Adams said, “We’ve spent a decade building connectivity to the highest credit-rated counterparties in the world.
“This integration enables Clearwater’s and TreasurySpring’s mutual clients to precisely match liabilities with fixed maturities while enhancing returns on surplus cash within their existing workflow. It’s a strategic complement that offers flexibility while maintaining the certainty, transparency and security that treasurers demand.”
Clearwater Analytics chief strategy officer and president, Asia Pacific Shane Akeroyd said, “By integrating Clearwater’s fixed-term investment capabilities alongside TreasurySpring’s existing liquidity solutions, we are providing clients with options to address every aspect of their cash strategy.
“Whether they need immediate liquidity for operations or want to optimize returns on surplus cash with known maturity dates, our platform now supports both needs seamlessly within a single, integrated environment. This strategic collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions that maximize the efficiency of our clients’ entire cash portfolio.”
