eToro and Amundi launch equity portfolio focused on megatrends

eToro, a global trading and investing platform, has partnered with Amundi, Europe’s leading asset manager, to launch a new strategic equity portfolio designed to provide long-term exposure to transformative global megatrends alongside broad market coverage.

The partnership centres on the launch of the Key Themes & Convictions Portfolio, which aims to capture opportunities created by structural changes shaping the global economy.

The majority of the portfolio is allocated to broad equity exposure, designed to capture opportunities across global financial markets based on Amundi’s strategic and tactical microeconomic views. This core allocation is complemented by a more targeted approach, with around one-third of the portfolio invested in selected exchange-traded funds focused on long-term megatrends.

These thematic allocations are grouped into three key areas. The first focuses on environment and resources, covering themes such as alternative energy, water management, pollution and recycling, the food chain, natural resources and conventional energy. The second centres on social and demographic change, including shifts in lifestyle and consumption, ageing populations, healthcare, infrastructure, financials and emerging markets. The third theme targets technology, with exposure to areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, information technology and materials technology.

In addition to launching the Key Themes & Convictions Portfolio, eToro has expanded its product offering by adding 120 Amundi ETFs to its platform. These ETFs span a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income and commodities, further broadening the investment options available to eToro users.

The new portfolio also forms part of eToro’s wider Smart Portfolios range, which is designed to provide long-term diversified exposure to various market themes. Investors can access the portfolio with a minimum initial investment of $500 and can monitor performance using eToro’s tools and charts. The platform’s social feed also allows investors to stay informed about relevant sector developments.

eToro chief investment officer Gil Shapira said, “Investing is about more than just tracking the markets, it’s about anticipating what will shape them. Partnering with Amundi, we’re giving our users access to a portfolio that follows broad market trends, but also actively positions them at the forefront of themes redefining tomorrow. It’s a convenient, diversified solution for investors who are targeting consistent growth alongside innovation.”
