FinTech Samaya AI wins backing from NVentures

Samaya

Samaya AI, an AI platform for financial services focused on building advanced reasoning agents for high-stakes investment workflows, has launched a new architecture designed to support real-time, expert-level decision-making across global markets.

The company has also secured new investment from NVentures, NVIDIA’s venture capital arm, and Databricks Ventures. While the size of the funding round has not been disclosed, the backing is intended to accelerate the expansion of Samaya AI’s customisable AI agents for complex financial workflows.

At the centre of the announcement is the Agent Control Plane (ACP), a purpose-built architecture that enables financial institutions to design, run and govern AI agents tailored to their own investment processes. Unlike generic AI systems, Samaya’s ACP is built specifically for finance, where professionals must synthesise information from multiple tools, datasets and content sources while maintaining accuracy and auditability. The platform integrates deep domain knowledge with a proprietary large language model engine, aiming to deliver outputs that reflect institutional context and user-specific expertise.

The ACP allows users to configure AI agents through natural language instructions and live iteration. Agents can be customised across planning, execution and analysis stages, while retaining visibility into how conclusions are reached. The architecture incorporates several proprietary components, including an integrated Planner, Long Horizon Executor and Memory module, alongside dedicated Reasoning, Context Management and Optimised Tools modules. The result, according to the company, is an AI system capable of reasoning across millions of datapoints and hundreds of tools without degrading performance.

The new capital will be used to broaden the deployment of Samaya’s agents across enterprise environments and to enhance their capabilities in areas such as earnings analysis, scenario modelling and economy-wide assessments. The company is positioning ACP as a blueprint for how next-generation AI agents in finance should be built and operated, particularly in environments where reliability and transparency are critical.

Samaya AI is already operating in production with more than 10,000 professionals at one of the world’s largest banks. Clients across the financial services sector are deploying ACP at enterprise scale, using it to combine internal data with external content sources to generate expert-quality outputs aligned with institutional standards.

Samaya AI CEO & Founder Maithra Raghu said, “AI Agents for finance have to transform global information into real-time decisions. They must be reliable, auditable, and extraordinarily precise while reasoning across millions of datapoints and hundreds of tools. Generic AI Agents break down under this complexity — hitting context limits, compounding errors, and degrading as tools scale. Samaya’s ACP is a blueprint for how next-generation AI Agents should be built and run, and we’re already seeing meaningful results from investment professionals using ACP across the globe.”
