Integrity Viking Funds, a fixed income-focused asset manager, has selected FIS Investment Accounting Manager, a cloud-based investment accounting solution from global FinTech firm FIS, to overhaul its investment accounting infrastructure.
The partnership sees Integrity Viking Funds adopt FIS’s SaaS-based Investment Accounting Manager platform, which supports a wide range of investment types, asset classes, and accounting methodologies. The solution enables asset managers and fund administrators to integrate their core platform with other solutions quickly and cost-effectively to support new investment strategies as they emerge.
The platform is designed to deliver sophisticated fixed income accounting capabilities that were previously accessible only to the largest institutional players, allowing firms of varying sizes to manage complex portfolios without facing prohibitive costs or operational hurdles. It offers high levels of automation, timely and accurate data access, reporting capabilities, and fully integrated tools aimed at improving operational efficiency.
FIS is a Jacksonville, Florida-headquartered financial technology company providing solutions to financial institutions, businesses, and developers. A member of both the Fortune 500 and the S&P 500 Index, FIS focuses on advancing the way the world pays, banks, and invests, supporting clients across the money lifecycle through a combination of reliability and innovation.
Integrity Viking Funds treasurer Shelly Nahrstedt said: “For years, we believed that firms of our size had to settle for less robust platforms that couldn’t fully support the complexity of our fixed income strategies. FIS has changed that equation entirely.
“Their decades of industry expertise have led to them providing us with a solution which allows us to capture and automate every security type and amortization method our portfolio demands. We’re no longer spending valuable time on manual corrections and workarounds, so we can finally focus on what matters most: delivering superior outcomes for our investors.”
FIS head of back office solutions Matt Stauffer said: “Asset managers are navigating increasingly complex investment strategies while facing heightened expectations for precision, transparency, and speed. When firms can compete on strategy rather than being constrained by their systems, this is ultimately better for investors depending on accurate portfolio management.”
