Avaloq, a banking software and services provider, and Aladdin Wealth, BlackRock’s wealth technology platform, have deepened their partnership with Arab Bank Switzerland, a Swiss private bank, making it the first Swiss bank to implement the joint technology solution from both firms.
Arab Bank Switzerland will extend its use of the Avaloq platform to include mobile banking, offering clients intuitive interfaces, high security standards and the ability to execute trades from smartphones. The bank will also roll out Avaloq’s RM Workplace solution in the front office, aimed at streamlining client interactions and boosting relationship manager productivity.
The expanded agreement also sees Arab Bank Switzerland become the first Swiss bank to implement the joint technology solution from Avaloq and Aladdin Wealth, developed through Avaloq’s partnership with BlackRock. The Aladdin Wealth integration will provide wealth managers with a risk management and portfolio construction solution delivered through a unified platform, designed to enhance efficiency and elevate the client experience.
Avaloq has worked with Arab Bank Switzerland since 2017, providing a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model for core banking combined with banking operations outsourcing (BPaaS). This foundation has underpinned the bank’s growth, with assets under management of the Arab Bank Switzerland Group, including Gonet, reaching close to CHF 20bn at year-end 2025.
