Health In Tech, an AI-enabled InsurTech platform listed on Nasdaq, has partnered with software engineering firm Ciklum to expand the capabilities of its stop-loss health insurance marketplace.
The platform supports more than 800 brokers, third-party administrators (TPAs), managing general underwriters (MGUs) and carriers across 40 US states, according to FF News.
The collaboration aims to strengthen administrative, sales and analytics functionality across the system.
Under the agreement, Ciklum will enhance both front- and back-end capabilities, enabling a more integrated technology environment spanning AI-driven bindable quotes, underwriting, reporting and analytics. The infrastructure will continue to operate on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with improvements designed to streamline data management and reporting workflows.
The companies expect the upgrades to improve operational efficiency for brokers and insurance partners while enabling expansion into larger employer markets. The platform will also consolidate quoting, underwriting, administration and analytics into a single environment to improve usability and adoption.
Tim Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, Health In Tech, said, “Health in Tech was founded on the belief that self-funded stop-loss insurance should be simple, streamlined, and widely available.
