Beyond by RS2, the innovation arm of BaFin-licensed e-money institution RS2 Financial Services GmbH and part of the RS2 Group, has joined forces with Hakisa, a portfolio company of investment holding Maffei & Co., to roll out an integrated card-based expense management solution aimed at social service organisations and municipalities.
Under the arrangement, Beyond by RS2 will serve as BIN sponsor and Mastercard card issuer, while Hakisa contributes its HakiPay® expense management platform to the joint offering.
The solution allows social institutions, welfare organisations and local authorities to issue payment cards to staff, carers and project partners, while retaining full oversight and control over expenditure. Built on Mastercard infrastructure, it has been designed to comply with relevant European regulatory standards and uphold data protection requirements.
RS2 senior product manager, consumer solutions Florian Heuberger said, “With this partnership, we are bringing to market a secure, efficient and compliant solution for organisations managing donation funds, care budgets and public resources. Our issuing platform gives organisations real-time oversight of spending, with controls such as MCC restrictions, budget parameters and project-specific rules.”
