FloQast opens Berlin hub to boost DACH presence

FloQast, an accounting transformation platform built by accountants to automate financial and audit workflows using AI, has announced the launch of a new hub in Berlin as part of a strategic push into the DACH region.

The new hub will serve as a base for building relationships with existing clients and partners while also pursuing new growth opportunities in the area.

To mark the opening, FloQast hosted a roundtable gathering in Berlin-Mitte on 18 February 2026, bringing together 17 senior finance professionals to explore how the accounting function is changing. Discussions touched on growing workloads, system integration challenges, and the gradual but accelerating adoption of AI within finance departments.

Attendees noted that many organisations are expanding in scale and complexity without a proportionate increase in accounting headcount, creating mounting pressure on existing teams. Shared service structures and system integrations were highlighted as sources of additional coordination demands, often generating friction rather than alleviating it.

FloQast’s platform enables accounting teams to automate close management, account reconciliations, accounting operations, and compliance activities using auditable AI.

FloQast UK general manager John Phillips said, “The conversations we’re seeing across the region are grounded in reality,” said John Phillips, UK General Manager at FloQast. “Finance teams are under pressure to do more with less, while maintaining full accountability for the numbers. Opening our Berlin hub is about being closer to those teams, building trust in the market, and supporting them with solutions that reflect how accounting actually works; structured, auditable, and grounded in financial logic.”
