NEXT Investors, a New York-based private equity firm specialising in capital markets infrastructure, has announced a Series A investment in Transient.AI, an AI-native platform designed for institutional trading environments.
The investment will support Transient.AI’s global expansion, with the company planning to grow its client base by drawing on NEXT’s institutional relationships across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, built over two decades in the industry.
Transient.AI has developed what it describes as an AI Operating System tailored to the demands of institutional trading. The platform covers the full lifecycle of trading workflows across front, middle and back office operations, pulling data from fragmented systems and consolidating it into a unified desktop and mobile interface.
Built with auditability, compliance and AI cost controls at its foundation, the platform is designed to function within highly regulated financial environments while supporting faster decision-making for portfolio managers, traders, researchers, sales teams and operations staff.
NEXT Investors was founded over 25 years ago and focuses exclusively on backing companies that supply critical infrastructure to financial services. The firm targets bootstrapped businesses led by domain experts, typically entering as the first institutional capital and working alongside management to drive growth.
