KfW Bankengruppe has chosen to deepen its existing relationship with RegTech firm Regnology by migrating to the company’s next-generation Regnology Reporting Hub (RRH), which will be delivered as a cloud-native service through Regnology’s proprietary Rcloud infrastructure.
The move sees one of the world’s foremost promotional banks transition its regulatory reporting operations onto RRH, with the platform hosted on Rcloud — Regnology’s high-performance architecture layer built on Google Cloud, which the company launched in 2023. The migration is designed to deliver elastic scalability, improved resilience, continuous updates, and the operational agility required to keep pace with shifting supervisory demands.
KfW is a public-law institution whose core mission centres on advancing sustainable economic, social, and ecological development across Germany, Europe, and internationally. Its adoption of the cloud-native RRH is intended to guarantee high availability, secure operations, and consistent performance in its regulatory reporting obligations.
Regnology reports that more than 80% of its clients now operate on Rcloud infrastructure, which the company says positions it as a frontrunner in driving the industry towards greater efficiency and resilience, and in building the foundations for AI-enabled and agentic regulatory operations.
