Newrez, a US homeownership company, has expanded its partnership with digital insurance marketplace Matic to embed real-time homeowners insurance comparison and quoting directly into its HomeHub customer portal.
The integration enables Newrez customers to compare personalised homeowners insurance coverage options and receive real-time quotes 24/7, with the aim of helping homeowners identify potential savings amid rising insurance costs across the US housing market.
Launched in Q4 2025, Newrez’s HomeHub brings together mortgage servicing, refinance offers, home equity management, property listings and customer support within a single digital platform. The addition of Matic’s insurance marketplace extends this offering into embedded insurance comparison and selection.
Through the integration, homeowners will be able to shop for insurance coverage within HomeHub while also viewing insights such as their insurance risk assessment and policy protection score, providing a more comprehensive view of their coverage position.
Newrez said the move is designed to address growing pressure on household budgets as homeowners insurance premiums have risen significantly over the past five years, increasing demand for more transparent and proactive tools to manage costs.

Matic provides access to a network of more than 70 insurance carriers and works with lenders and mortgage platforms to embed insurance shopping into the homeownership journey.
