Cytora, the digital risk processing platform for commercial insurance, has formed a partnership with InformData, a network specialising in verifiable people data, in a move designed to give insurers a fuller picture of the risks landing in their pipelines.
Under the agreement, InformData’s verifiable people data will be embedded directly into the Cytora platform. Commercial insurers working with Cytora to digitise their submissions, renewals, claims and mid-term adjustments will now receive instant verification insights on each risk as it enters their workflow.
The tie-up is intended to help carriers reach decisions that are quicker, fairer and made with greater confidence across the entire commercial policy lifecycle. Enriching submissions with verified information about the individuals behind a risk gives insurers a stronger line of defence against fraud and breaches of compliance rules. The arrangement also opens up broader risk monitoring capabilities, allowing organisations to maintain ongoing visibility of enterprise-level exposures, including the threat posed by insider cyber activity, thereby sharpening awareness and lowering vulnerability.
For Cytora, the deal advances its goal of enriching every incoming risk with a wide range of external data sources, while InformData gains a route into complex commercial insurance workflows it did not previously serve.
