ReCo, a PayTech technology provider and 100GROUP company, has launched an upgraded version of ReCo Anywhere, its cloud-based payments platform designed to help municipalities modernise revenue collection and expand digital payment services.
The updated platform introduces a redesigned experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, alongside new tools aimed at improving payment processing. New features include improved bill search, parcel views, transaction history, downloadable receipts and multi-account management.
A new multi-department checkout capability allows residents to pay multiple government bills, including property taxes, utilities and motor vehicle fees, through a single transaction. ReCo said the platform will support future features such as split payments, payment plans and automated payments.
ReCo Anywhere replaces the company’s legacy ReCo Cashiering platform, which has been used by local governments for nearly three decades. The platform was strengthened following ReCo’s 2023 acquisition of EZ SecurePay, an online payments provider.
For government administrators, the platform adds new tools to customise bill forms, improve reporting and export financial data directly into Excel. Security enhancements include adaptive reCAPTCHA to help prevent fraud and two-factor authentication for staff access.
ReCo provides revenue collection software to municipalities across the US, supporting areas including cashiering, online payments, financial integrations, courts, law enforcement, utilities and permits. Parent company 100GROUP provides payments, software and operational solutions for businesses and government organisations.
ReCo and 100GROUP CEO Jeff Brodsly said, “The new ReCo Anywhere is the result of our ongoing commitment to making government payments more accessible and manageable for everyone involved.”
ReCo president Gary Norton added, “This launch represents a major step forward in our mission to modernise municipal payments. The new ReCo Anywhere not only enhances the user experience but helps governments improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative overhead, and deliver better service to their communities.”
