Xceptor expands SaaS to Switzerland and Japan

Xceptor, a specialist in data automation technology for capital markets firms, has extended its software-as-a-service offering into Switzerland and Japan.

The expansion brings sovereign-grade SaaS to two markets known for stringent regulatory and data residency standards, giving institutions access to the company’s data automation, artificial intelligence and confirmations tools while ensuring information stays within local jurisdictions.

Xceptor’s SaaS clients already depend on its data automation, confirmations, tax and reconciliation solutions to manage substantial volumes of information, processing billions of rows of data, ingesting terabytes of files and handling more than 70,000 SFTP transfers every month. The company said its platform also deals with upwards of one million inbound emails weekly.

The SaaS offering runs on Microsoft Azure, with regional hosting already spanning the US, EMEA and APAC, now joined by dedicated regions covering Switzerland and Japan.

Xceptor holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications, and the company manages all upgrades, security patches and performance monitoring on clients’ behalf, removing the burden of costly upgrade cycles and cutting the need for specialist infrastructure teams.

Xceptor CTO and Co-Founder Dan Reid said, “Financial institutions operating in markets like Switzerland and Japan often have to navigate strict data sovereignty and technology outsourcing rules.

“The new SaaS regions give our clients greater flexibility to automate mission-critical operations while ensuring data remains within their desired local jurisdictions. This represents an important milestone in our global SaaS strategy, focused on supporting clients wherever they operate.”
