Tieto has expanded into the UK, establishing a local sales presence for its Indtech Billing & Invoicing division as demand grows among the company’s existing Northern European customer base.
The move is designed to strengthen support for document distribution and digital payment solutions across the region, while giving UK businesses and partners closer access to Tieto’s existing service network.
Tieto Indtech Billing & Software positions itself as a provider of document distribution, communication and payment solutions, and the company said the UK launch is aimed at giving consumers in the market a more tailored digital experience. The platform is built to help businesses streamline document management, improve user experience and reduce friction in payment transactions, an approach the company believes matches the demands of increasingly digital-first UK consumers.
Leading the UK operation is newly appointed UK sales manager Steve Tait, who brings more than 20 years of experience across payments and e-commerce. His background spans new business development, account management and technical consulting, with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups. Tait will be responsible for UK customer relationships as Tieto builds out its presence in the market.
Central to Tieto’s UK proposition is payment coverage. The company’s solutions support a wide range of payment methods and connect with all major UK banking networks through its payment providers, an offering Tieto believes addresses the convenience, efficiency and security that UK consumers expect from digital services. The platform also integrates the full document journey, from creation through to final payment, within a single user experience.
Tieto’s UK entry is backed by an established partner network spanning email, SMS, print and digital channels, giving the company a multichannel offering it says can be scaled and customised to individual business needs. Tieto also highlighted that its solutions are GDPR-compliant and built to meet high security standards as regulatory expectations continue to evolve.
Among the products Tieto is bringing to the UK market is Live Invoice, part of a suite aimed at helping businesses improve operational efficiency while maintaining transparency over customer communications.
