Nasdaq completes Dasseti deal to boost AI due diligence

Nasdaq has completed its acquisition of Dasseti, an AI-powered platform used by investment consultants, institutional investors and asset managers to run due diligence and ongoing manager monitoring.

The deal, first unveiled on 23 July 2026, sees Dasseti’s technology folded into Nasdaq eVestment, extending the platform’s reach across the entire manager research, due diligence and monitoring process. Nasdaq has not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.

Institutional investors are increasingly managing exposure across a wider range of managers, strategies and asset classes, a challenge that is particularly acute in private markets, where data standards and reporting demands are far less consistent than in public markets.

Nasdaq eVestment sits at the heart of this activity, linking around 4,800 contributing asset managers with over 1,200 asset owners and intermediaries, and supporting more than $90tn in assets under management spread across upwards of 112,000 products in 109 countries. Its private markets coverage now extends to more than 16,000 managers and 95,000 funds, accessible through Nasdaq eVestment itself, global data providers and CRM platforms.

Dasseti’s technology is built to apply AI to due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals and continuous monitoring work, the processes that generate much of the insight into how managers actually operate.

The platform spans 17,000 asset managers and general partners, collectively representing $34tn in assets under management, positioning it as one of the largest due diligence and monitoring networks in the industry.

Once fully integrated into Nasdaq eVestment, its tools are expected to speed up response times, sharpen data quality, and give consultants and institutional investors a single environment covering everything from initial screening to selection and ongoing oversight, while also streamlining RFP, due diligence questionnaire and database management for asset managers themselves.

The acquisition builds on a longer-standing relationship between the two companies, which began in 2022 when Nasdaq Ventures made an early-stage investment in Dasseti.

Nasdaq executive vice president and chief product officer, capital access platforms, Oliver Albers said, “Much of the due diligence and RFP process still happens outside core research platforms, in a patchwork of spreadsheets, PDFs, and email threads. With Dasseti, we’re bringing AI-powered due diligence and monitoring into Nasdaq eVestment, creating a more connected experience that helps institutional investors move from research to decision-making and ongoing oversight with greater efficiency and confidence.”
