Phoenix Venture Partners Limited (PVP), an Abu Dhabi-based venture capital fund manager, has led a $3.5m Pre-Series A financing round in Sav, an autonomous consumer WealthTech platform that draws on AI and open finance infrastructure to help users save, invest, manage credit and build wealth through a single financial ecosystem.
Alongside PVP’s lead position, the round attracted participation from a number of co-investors drawn from the investor base of Phoenix Venture Partners Innovation Fund CEIC Limited (PVPIF), according to a report from wamda.
Proceeds from the round will be channelled primarily into Sav’s go-to-market push into Saudi Arabia, while also funding continued product development, the build-out of its AI infrastructure and user acquisition efforts across the wider GCC region.
Sav positions itself as an all-in-one money app that adapts to how customers live, spend and grow, syncing across banks, cards and investment accounts so users can save and build wealth from a single place. The platform offers up to 5% cashback on spending, capped at AED 500 a month, applicable to both domestic and international purchases. It also gives users AI-driven tools for global investing, along with invite-only access to private deal opportunities designed for more serious investors. Separately, customers can unlock flexible credit against assets such as gold, property or equity without needing to sell them.
Built in the UAE, Sav says it has built an architecture for modern finance that is trusted by more than 60,000 users.
Sav co-founder and CEO Purvi Munot said, “A generation is building wealth for the first time, across more borders than any before it, and the financial system was never designed for them. Their accounts sit in different countries, their credit history resets every time they move, and no institution ever sees the whole picture.
“We are building the platform that does: one that understands a person’s entire financial life and acts on it, so their money works as hard and moves as freely as they do. From our first conversations, the PVP team understood that ambition. This partnership will accelerate our expansion into Saudi Arabia, deepen our AI capabilities, and take us closer to a future where financial intelligence is not a privilege reserved for the few, but infrastructure available to everyone.”
