SEON has partnered with Exist Software Labs to extend its fraud prevention and anti-money laundering coverage across Southeast Asia.
The tie-up gives Exist’s client base across banking, FinTech, payments and e-commerce direct access to SEON’s fraud prevention, identity verification and AML compliance technology, widening the reach of both companies in a region where digital transaction volumes continue to climb.
The deal builds on SEON’s ongoing push into Asia-Pacific, a region where the company says it has recorded strong growth over the past year. The Philippines ranks among Southeast Asia’s fastest-expanding digital financial services markets, leaving banks, FinTechs and payment providers increasingly exposed to fraud and tightening compliance obligations as more activity shifts online.
Under the arrangement, Exist will make SEON’s full platform available to its clients, spanning fraud detection and risk scoring, customer and payment screening, AML transaction monitoring, identity verification, and case management and reporting. Exist’s systems integration expertise is expected to let clients deploy SEON within their existing infrastructure rather than having to build fraud and compliance capabilities from scratch.
SEON positions itself as an AI-driven platform built to help organisations detect fraud and meet anti-money laundering requirements in real time. Exist Software Labs is a Philippines-headquartered technology and systems integration provider, with expertise spanning software development, systems integration and digital transformation projects.
The partnership is aimed at organisations across banking and financial services, FinTech, payments, e-commerce and iGaming, sectors where digital transactions, customer onboarding and compliance demands are all on the rise.
SEON SVP and GM, APAC, Troy Nyi Nyi said, “Fraud and financial crime keep growing more sophisticated, but most organizations are still trying to manage that risk across tools that were never designed to work together. By combining Exist’s engineering and integration expertise with SEON’s real-time fraud prevention and AML technology, we’re helping organizations in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia bring those signals into a single view and act on them faster.”
Exist Software Labs vice president for technology Sir Jonas Lim said, “Through our partnership with SEON, we are expanding the capabilities we can bring to our clients by combining advanced fraud prevention and AML technology with Exist’s expertise in software development, systems integration and digital transformation. Together, we aim to help organizations gain better visibility into risk and take more informed action.”
