Real Brokerage expands agent banking with Real Wallet

The Real Brokerage is expanding its financial technology offering for real estate agents, turning Real Wallet into a broader banking hub and introducing two months of interest-free funding through Real Wallet Capital.

Announced at the company’s annual RISE conference, the upgraded Real Wallet experience is expected to roll out to all US agents during the first half of 2027. The platform will allow agents to create multiple dedicated accounts within Real’s reZEN operating system, helping them allocate income towards taxes, marketing, personal pay and other business expenses.

Agents will also be able to automate how commission and revenue-share payments are distributed when they arrive. Additional features include physical and virtual debit cards linked to individual accounts, spending limits, scheduled and recurring payments, shared access for business partners and management of multiple business entities through one interface.

The expansion builds on growing adoption of Real’s existing financial products. More than 35% of its US agents now hold a Real Wallet Business Checking Account, with account balances reaching $45m, compared with $20m a year earlier. Lending through Real Wallet Capital has reached $25m.

Real Wallet Capital is also being positioned as an alternative to expensive business credit cards and traditional commission advances. Its new offer provides two months of interest-free funding, although an origination fee still applies. Agents can use the capital for business expenses such as hiring, technology and marketing.

Eligibility is based on an agent’s production history rather than conventional credit scoring. The service is available in 39 US states, Washington, DC and Canada, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

Real combines its brokerage operations with mortgage, closing and technology services designed to simplify the home-buying process. It supports more than 36,000 agents across the US and Canada and operates within Real REMAX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: REAX), which has more than 180,000 agents across over 120 countries and territories.

Real Wallet has no monthly maintenance or payment fees. Its Real Wallet Rewards programme allows agents to earn points through account balances and Visa Business Debit Card spending, which can be applied towards brokerage fees and commission splits.

The company is also running a Real Wallet Monthly Match promotion until April 2027. Under the programme, one qualifying agent who pays commissions into their account each month will have their average gross commission matched up to $5,000, subject to terms.

Real is not a bank. Its US banking services are provided by Thread Bank, Member FDIC, which also issues the debit card under licence from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Real Wallet Capital loans are provided by Real Broker Financial, LLC or Real Broker Lending, LLC, depending on the state, and remain subject to eligibility.

Real Wallet general manager Dominic Parikh said, “This is about fundamentally changing what a brokerage can do for an agent beyond the transaction itself. Real Wallet is becoming the financial platform our agents’ businesses run on. Our vision is to give every Real agent the financial tools that align how they get paid, help them manage their money and give them the ability to invest in growth when the opportunity arises.”

Craft & Bauer founding partner Dominic Labriola added, “We’ve loved the freedom and flexibility that having credit available through Real Wallet Capital has given us. We first used Real Wallet Capital to pay off some expensive business credit card debt. Knowing that the debt was being paid off at a lower rate and also having the predictability of a schedule that it would be paid back within has been a huge relief. We’ve used it a couple different times now. It’s wonderful to feel empowered like this with our business finances.”

Sara DeWulf of Real’s Rainmaker Collective used the capital to move her team into a new 9,000-square-foot building in Bettendorf, Iowa. DeWulf also commented, “Real Wallet Capital exceeded my expectations. The application was so much easier than going through a traditional bank, I was approved immediately and had the funds the next day. And because repayment includes both a monthly payment and a portion of my commissions, I’m paying it off faster than I expected.”
