UK mortgage technology provider One Mortgage System (OMS) has partnered with Instamo to reduce manual administration for mortgage brokers, integrating its FastSubmit technology into the OMS platform.
The integration allows brokers to transfer client information and case details held within OMS directly into lender application portals, removing the need to manually enter the same information across multiple systems. Brokers can access lender portals using their existing credentials and review populated fields before submitting applications, while lenders retain their existing controls and underwriting processes.
By automating data entry between the advice and application stages, the integration aims to reduce processing time, minimise errors and ease the administrative workload facing brokers.
The addition of FastSubmit also expands the range of services available through the OMS CRM, enabling intermediaries to manage more of the mortgage application process within a single platform.
OMS provides technology covering residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging and commercial mortgages, as well as general insurance and protection. Its platform also includes product sourcing, protection sourcing and mortgage criteria search capabilities.
One Mortgage System managing director Neal Jannels said, “The mortgage market has no shortage of technology, but adding more systems does not automatically make a broker’s job easier. The real value comes from connecting the right tools and removing unnecessary work without reducing the level of control.”
He added, “Instamo supports that by reducing the manual input involved in moving from recommendation to application, while giving brokers the opportunity to review the information before submission. Integrating this functionality with OMS further strengthens the link between the advice and application stages and helps create a more efficient process.”
Instamo founder Freddie Savundra also commented, “It’s been great working with Neal, Dale and the whole OMS team on this integration. By bringing FastSubmit into the OMS platform, advisers can now save an average of 26 minutes per case, significantly reducing the time spent on manual data entry and helping them focus more on their clients.”
He continued, “We share a common goal of making mortgage submissions simpler and more efficient, and this partnership is a great step towards achieving that. We’re excited to be working together to help advisers save valuable time, reduce administration and streamline the submission process.”
The integration reflects growing demand for connected lending technology that reduces repetitive tasks and allows mortgage professionals to spend more time supporting customers. For brokers handling multiple applications, automating information transfers between CRM systems and lender portals could help improve efficiency while maintaining oversight of submissions.
