Wolters Kluwer has appointed Richard Pulliam as the new SVP and General Manager of its CP and ESG division’s EHS & ESG unit.

This division, previously known as EHS/ORM, is renowned for its product, Enablon. Pulliam joined the division earlier in 2024 as Vice President of Product Management for ESG solutions.

Wolters Kluwer Corporate Performance & ESG is at the forefront of providing integrated software solutions for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). The company is recognised globally for its innovative technology and unique expertise, which empower business leaders to make informed, strategic decisions that propel transformation, performance, and risk management towards a sustainable and resilient world.

Richard Pulliam, who has amassed over 20 years of experience in spearheading the success of high-growth B2B software platforms, will now lead this high-impact division. His career includes significant roles such as the Chief Product & Strategy Officer of Arvest Bank Group. Pulliam is celebrated for his skill in leveraging Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and ecosystems to develop and scale transformational businesses and products across diverse sectors like financial services, telecommunications, travel, human resources, and media.

Pulliam’s extensive background positions him uniquely to drive the EHS & ESG business at Wolters Kluwer. His previous role as Vice President of Product Management for ESG solutions has equipped him with in-depth knowledge of the division’s focus and goals.

Wolters Kluwer CEO Karen Abramson commented on the appointment, stating: “Richard’s entrepreneurial mindset, together with his commitment to customer-driven innovation and his demonstrated expertise in successfully leading businesses to seize untapped growth markets, are a perfect match to lead the continued evolution of our high-growth, future-focused EHS & ESG business, centered around our global Enablon platform.”

Richard Pulliam shared his enthusiasm about his new role, saying: “This is an incredibly exciting time to lead Wolters Kluwer EHS & ESG. Organizations in every geography across virtually every industry are driving an unprecedented demand for user-friendly, integrated technology that can digitally transform the way they manage EHS and ESG data.

“Together, we will empower future-focused CFOs, CSOs, CIOs, and EHS professionals to set their sights far beyond reporting, to a future where they can leverage their EHS and ESG data to not only improve safety, but also meet their targets, drive cost savings, and build more resilient operations for true competitive advantage.”
