Zellis Group has released its first-ever Impact Report, a comprehensive review of its ESG commitments and sustainability strategies.
According to FinTech Finance, This inaugural report outlines the significant strides the Group has made towards its ESG goals, set under a robust framework introduced in 2022.
The report details Zellis Group’s ambitious ESG targets for 2027, which include enhancing the financial and emotional wellbeing of over five million people via digital tools like payslips, discounts, and mental health resources. The Group also aims to foster diversity within its leadership, targeting a makeup of 50% women and 20% diverse characteristics. Another critical goal is achieving operational net-zero carbon emissions to contribute actively to climate change mitigation.
John Petter, CEO of Zellis, expressed pride in the progress the Group has achieved since the framework’s launch. “Since setting out our ESG framework and ambitions in 2022, some of my proudest and most fulfilling achievements in business have been overseeing the progress made against our plans, and the impact they have had on our colleagues, customers, and local communities,” he said. Petter also highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to accelerating these initiatives and embedding sustainability into the core of their business operations.
Moreover, Zellis Group has garnered several accolades that reinforce its commitment to sustainable practices, including being an accredited Real Living Wage employer and holding the EcoVadis Silver Medal Status. The Group’s dedication is further exemplified by its engagement with global movements such as the United Nations Global Compact and various social initiatives.
In recognition of its environmental efforts, Zellis achieved an A- score from the Carbon Disclosure Project in 2022, highlighting its effective environmental management and carbon emissions strategies. This achievement underscores the Group’s proactive approach to integrating sustainable practices across its operations.
