Elavon and Woo take payments partnership to North America

Elavon, a global payments provider, and WooCommerce, the open-source ecommerce platform behind more than 4.5 million online stores, have expanded their partnership to North America following a successful collaboration in Europe.

By downloading the Elavon extension from the WooCommerce Marketplace, merchants across the US and Canada will gain instant access to Elavon’s payment services. Designed to support micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), the free extension aims to help merchants scale their operations into new markets with minimal friction.

Elavon’s approach centres on embedding payments into software ecosystems, offering an all-in-one suite that makes it easier for ecommerce platforms and independent software vendors to offer integrated, compliant, and secure payments. Its Elavon Payment Gateway facilitates rapid onboarding and seamless payment experiences across digital platforms.

The partnership with WooCommerce has already proven effective in Europe over the past 12 months. This extension into North America enables Woo’s merchant base in the region to join their European counterparts in accessing Elavon’s technology.
