Prometeia, an advisory and digital solutions provider serving asset managers, banks, insurance companies and financial advisers, has launched an integrated offering focused on private markets.
The new offering comes as investments in private markets now account for approximately 9.5% of institutional investors’ assets, representing a 56% growth between 2020 and 2024, it said. The launch consolidates and expands Prometeia’s advisory capabilities for financial operators, including asset managers, banks, insurance companies and consultant networks that structure and distribute investment strategies to clients.
The growth of private markets has been driven by three key factors: the ability to enhance yields through illiquidity premiums, lower perceived volatility compared to traditional liquid markets, and greater opportunities for portfolio diversification. For regulated operators, however, investments in this asset class are subject to stringent regulatory constraints, requiring full awareness of investments made alongside solid management and monitoring frameworks. In this context, Prometeia positions analytical, operational, and reporting tools as a decisive competitive factor.
Prometeia’s integrated offering draws on in-depth knowledge of the sector, built through a network of over 100 Italian and international asset managers, asset owners and family offices. This network enables the firm to provide analysis of product characteristics, competitive positioning and asset valuation.
