Kreios and ALFI to digitise Luxembourg fund compliance

Kreois

Kreios, a Luxembourg-based RegTech firm, has announced a cooperation with the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), the country’s leading fund industry body, to advance the digitalisation of compliance and regulatory operations across Luxembourg’s financial centre.

Under the initiative, ALFI’s industry expertise will be translated into practical digital rules that can be applied directly within Kreios’ REGMATIX platform, allowing firms to implement regulatory guidance more efficiently, consistently and at scale.

The initial phase of the cooperation will centre on integrating ALFI’s guidance on the PRIIPs Key Information Document (KID) into REGMATIX, with further areas to be incorporated in subsequent stages. This will allow firms to validate their documents against established industry benchmarks in a more systematic and auditable manner, improving consistency and reducing dependence on manual processes.

The solution has been built as an independent control layer that can operate alongside firms’ existing production environments and operating models, making it compatible with a wide range of institutional setups.

Kreios’ REGMATIX platform is designed to convert trusted industry and regulatory guidance into scalable, auditable controls for financial firms. The initiative represents a step towards a more modern approach to fund compliance — one that preserves human judgement while using AI-enabled automation and rule-based processes to make expert knowledge more accessible and applicable at scale.

The broader aim of the partnership is to strengthen Luxembourg’s standing as an innovative and quality-focused fund domicile, reinforcing the country’s position as a forward-looking financial centre in Europe.

ALFI CEO Serge Weyland said, “ALFI’s role is to help the Luxembourg fund industry remain competitive, trusted and future-ready. The initiative reflects our commitment to connecting expertise and fostering innovation across the Luxembourg fund ecosystem. By making our expertise more accessible in operational environments such as Kreios’ REGMATIX platform, we enable the consistent and scalable application of industry best practices. This, in turn, strengthens Luxembourg’s position as a quality-focused, forward-looking and innovative fund domicile.”

Kreios CEO Ulf Herbig said, “True innovation in regulation means turning expert knowledge into scalable, auditable controls. REGMATIX is designed to transform trusted industry guidance into practical, usable controls for firms. Our role is to help make that expertise operational in a way that supports consistency, transparency and responsible use of AI-enabled automation.”
